Malta Port General Information

MH Bland is now fully operational in the strategically located port of Malta

MH Bland maintains a strong presence in Malta, reflecting the island’s status as one of the Mediterranean’s most strategic maritime hubs. Perfectly positioned between Sicily and North Africa, Malta offers deep-water, all-weather harbours that have long made it a vital gateway for vessels transiting the region.

The Maltese archipelago: Malta, Gozo and Comino, has a strong maritime tradition, with Valletta’s Grand Harbour and the Port of Marsaxlokk serving as the two principal international ports. Both provide a full range of services including bunkering, towage, salvage, pilotage, emergency repairs, chandelling and victualling. Operations are available 24/7, 365 days a year, fully compliant with the latest ISPS Code regulations.

While Valletta and Marsaxlokk are the main hubs for international shipping, Gozo’s Mgarr Harbour and other smaller ports also contribute to Malta’s thriving maritime sector. This extensive infrastructure, combined with Malta’s central location, ensures that the islands remain a key link in global shipping routes.

With our well-established presence in Malta, MH Bland continues to deliver trusted, professional and efficient maritime services to vessels across the central Mediterranean.
